This isn’t about being popular. The morale in this agency prior to the new Sheriff was lower than whale poop at the bottom of the ocean. Fact!

With the new Sheriff comes vision and prosperity for BSO. It will be Sheriff Tony’s responsibility to maintain that and make that vision prosper and grow.

We should not be talking about Sgts and Lts, they have job protection just like the deputies and it serves no purpose at this point because they are not going anywhere...

The focus should be on Captains and above! The Sheriff must identify who needs to go, making space for new promotions to those ranks. This in turn will continue to cleanse the BSO from its shameful past because its prior leadership.

Sheriff Tony this is your opportunity to build a team you can trust!

Actually it’s ingenious for Ira, on one hand he pledges loyalty and money to Sheriff Tony and on the other hand he calls Israel everyday and feeds him information. Ira is actual a triple agent like many more here who always play both sides.

The problem is if Sheriff Tony truly was not political he would have fired Ira. What’s right is right, he is a jail Deputy with no education and should not hold a Captain rank. There is no way around that fact. And you cannot expect Ira to stop talking with Israel they are very close friends who even vacation together.
