    Eventually there will be one major disastrous incident which will be a huge embarrassment to the Gualtieri regime caused by one or more of these morons they have promoted. It may take a while but it will happen someday because the odds get more favorable with each promotion. It will be most enjoyable to watch Gualtieri squirm and try to weasel his way out of it. Heads will roll.

    Imagine what would happen if this "event" occured a few months before the next election.

    Actually thought this might have happen with Major RN. I guess this is why he was forced to retire. Looks like Bob dodged a bullet. But, we got more weak leadership on the way. Sit back and watch the chaos.

    The culture here is anybody that makes a working mistake, during the heat of the moment, will be destroyed! Senior people not just slugs, know your one judgement call from being pummeled. Thats why the best arent stepping up. The big picture here is stay under the radar, take your calls, do your reports, write a few tickets and go home. Not much harder than that, its truly what we have become!!!!!

    Only in your delusional wet dreams. People do crap all the time that re given breaks. We only read about the ones where the hammer dropped and seems as those deserved it. Name the incident where the hammer dropped wrong. What homicide det drunk at scene? Pot stirrer STFU.

    Yeah, guys getting 40 hours over trying to catch a car that ran. These people never had any discipline and got 40 hours off
    If you think 40 hours off for making a bad call while trying to catch a bad guy is fitting then your a fool

    What do you think that does for the morale of workers? That’s an example of a first time error that gets the guy 40 hours off. If you think that’s appropriate for a hustle mistake then your part of problem

    The big picture is you are a lazy slug and the “best” in your own mind. Now get back to work before your new Corporal writes you up.

    I will say that AJ is one of the laziest deputies I have ever worked with and now he gets to pass that on to the recruits.

    A++.

    That's exactly the key to survival during Bob's administration. His command staff, the supervisors and most deputies know it and they are in full survival mode. Everyone is scared to make decisions because they know there is no backup in case something goes wrong. Everyone with any brains is doing the minimum to prevent any mistakes, real or imagined, by "Dear Leader". Those who want to play hero cop will end up fired or severely disciplined. Those who fly under the radar will make it to pension age.

    That can drive a man to drink. Oh wait, better not, get a DUI and you are instantly fired.
