Kurt..did you remove some of the questions on the Pre Employment exam? That is the rumor. If so Kurt I want you to keep one thing in mind since you put children's safety at risk.
The Sheriff’s Office report stated that it “holds its employees to a high standard of conduct and behavior” and that his actions have “a tendency to destroy public respect and confidence in the agency, in its employees, and in the operation of its services.”
Sheriff if he did remove key questions in the pre employment remember this..
The Sheriff’s Office report stated that it “holds its employees to a high standard of conduct and behavior” and that his actions have “a tendency to destroy public respect and confidence in the agency, in its employees, and in the operation of its services.”
You put people and members of our agency at risk by hiring a this person and your actions had a “a tendency to destroy public respect and confidence in the agency, in its employees, and in the operation of its services.”
Tom Knight please ask for this Kurt's resignation.
Ohhh one more thing
The Sheriff’s Office report stated that it “holds its employees to a high standard of conduct and behavior” and that his actions have “a tendency to destroy public respect and confidence in the agency, in its employees, and in the operation of its services.”

Why is this stuff in the newspaper?
Can the newspaper (and other media outlets) be held legally responsible for releasing sensitive investigative conclusions to the public? In fact, does the public even have a right to know what is uncovered, especially if it is about senior leadership within the Sarasota Sheriff's Office? If unsavory investigative information is uncovered and released to the public, then it could conceivably cause some citizens to distrust or disrespect the agency. Maybe sensitive or embarrassing information can be legally sealed to prevent the public from knowing about it. For example, if Colonel Kurt Hoffman fails a lie detector test, then exactly why should the public be allowed to know about it? Exactly how does the public benefit by knowing about this kind of stuff?

Let it go
When will **u people understand? Neither Knight or Hoffman answer to **u. They don't care what **u think. Imagine working for people who conspire, lie, and cover up crimes like these two. The SSO is totally absent of leadership of any kind. And **u can do nothing about it.
