Didn't he nearly get arrested by the Feds for forging letters for the Deputies on his shift to try to help illegal aliens get green cards. Didn't spend the a large part of his last 3 years suspended or on modified assignment. Didn't he get involved in some really questionable shootings in D1? I think Donald Duck is more qualified then Santiago Vasquez.

ok, all PC aside.

At this point in time, regardless of qualifications, experience etc. one way or the other, a hispanic name running as a republican can't make it out of the gate.

It will be a few more voting cycles before any republican can have a shot at it. Best strategy is to find the best "D" candidate there is, even though it hurts.

This is all true and public records. The guy he shot was on the ground on his back. Guy hit deputy with a bat on a 10-49. The forgery totally happened too. How has this not come out before i dont know.
