Hey, chump, I think you're stupid.
Pollack and his son have a say in this. They can say all they want from sun-up to sun-set. I'm glad it bothers you so much. You should shut your fat yapper for 5 seconds and listen and maybe you'll learn something. You're the type that poisons this agency. You've probably already removed. Either way, you're not going to give this guy a chance or a break? You're that much of a loser? A quitter? Just like you were on 2/14/18? YOU are the product of AMAZING leadership so maybe you're the reason Pollack and company have a say at all. So until you are un-f**ked, or fixed, or gone, shut the f**k up and do your job which is to SERVE and PROTECT, you pansy-azz-f**ker.

It seems to be be very difficult for a few to accept that one city, 48% conservative who did not support the Sheriff's idiotic David Hogg NRA mission were the ones who were able to get it done. You can spin it any way you want, but there were hundreds of posts about supposed violations involving finances, ethics, free trips, since the beginning of 2013. None of that changed anything. The airport, the courthouse escape, changed nothing.
The Parkland conservatives sat quietly while liberals in Parkland and all over the country cheered at the Dana Loesch debacle and marched for their lives. They didn't. They stayed home, met at Wings Plus and did their homework about PROMISE, about school crime cover ups, about the lax culture of district 17, bad leadership, poor training and sat through a nauseating fake MSD commission that was decided before it began to cover for Israel. They formed their own conclusions and agreed with 534 that this administration along with BCPS needs to go.
So, now, you don't like this one after 7 days of his firing a lot of the problems that you identified. Okay. So what is your solution? Who is your guy/girl? This is your boss, not theirs. The barn door is not shut. But, instead of attacking these families and talking about what you don't want, come up with some solutions. You won't be picking the Sheriff- the voters will. The voters need to know EARLY which candidates you are supporting in order to pick up the ball. Your "us against them" stance with the public benefits no one except an administration trying to stay in power. Hopefully, that's a lesson that has been learned.

true that the MSD so called commission to get to the bottom of it was a group of sheriffs trying to cover eachother for the same stuff in their counties. now they all look like corrupt fools. Pinellas did not support Gualtieri's defense of mumbles. It doesnt seem like Tony stays in one place for too long. For a guy thats 40 he's had a lot of different careers. Not a criticism, just an observation. So far, he's done some good things but by 2020 he may not be interested in sticking around.

Like in most cases, this cannot speak for every move made over the last week- just most of them.
The smoke and dust will begin to clear next week, and people are going to see they’ve been had. Because damaging as it is to bring in outside people and argue they are perfectly qualified for any high-level position, its equally as damaging to now paint every original BSO as saviors to the profession. Israel created two separate but similar groups. The god-like experts he brought in from other agencies (Group A), and those he coddled, adored and, in all candor, couldn’t position and promote fast enough (Group B.) Many in Group B skipped multiple ranks. Some were promoted close to every year the man was in office, even after being at the helm during some substantial and negative public safety mishaps. Many campaigned for Israel openly, on company time, without shame, and very often. Both groups are Israel’s closest and have been equally devastating to this agency. But at nothing more than someone’s suggestion and without so much as a 5 minute interview, Tony will fiercely remove the outsiders in A for one reason- they came with Israel, thus leaving the self-serving, now turncoats, in (Group B) to continue their amazing leadership roles, without opposition. They are also left to serve two Gods- Israel and now Tony, simultaneously. But that’s ok because they were here and although they haven’t missed an Israel chance to shine, they are now BSO strong and unaffiliated? That borders on bizarre and speaks volumes of the true mission and more importantly, the predicted outcome. Although the new sheriff has chosen to pander to and promote Group B, it remains the most troubling group, as it is the one that most of the agencies workers are exposed to. He’s ignored the politically placed, the chronically promoted or those that have leap frogged rank like a child’s game. What ever happened to time in grade?? So what is the new Sheriffs vision to right the ship? Eradicate the outsiders in (A) and tell Israel’s Group B to continue being, well, the amazing group that they are certain they are; which only furthers Israel’s vision, not Tony’s. Not saying that what was done was not warranted in some fashion- but clearly much was done just to make a point, and that very seldom works. To elevate Group B with the same reckless abandon used to show Group A the door, is not only hypocritical to his statement, but will assure that in 2020, Broward county will have another new sheriff. He’s already posturing for the job. And where will support for Tony’s ouster come from? Yep, group B. The chosen ones who got to stay.
