Why anyone from the Broward sheriffs office is still a member of the PBA is beyond me. The PBA would never have done what our current union has done in battling the sheriff, hiring an accountant to find money, going to impasse, voting no confidence and so much more. It is nice to see her union finally fight for us rather than hearing you can win the battle but lose the war. And now we here Bob Lahiff is telling everybody that we are friends again with Tony Alfaro . What a joke. You think Tony Alfaro will get the membership to come back to the PBA? How many bar complaints and lawsuits against him does he have right now?

3 years ago, the PBA told us IUPA would not sent lawyers to a shooting. That was proven false and IUPA responds to all shootings, even dog shootings and traffic crashes.PBA does not. Last incident in Pompano, PBA never even sent a lawyer but IUPA did.

PBA said that IUPA has no attorneys on record. Again proven false. Matter of fact, last shooting in Tamarac,each of the 3 Deputies involved had their own individual attorney assignedPBA issues 1 attorney per incident despite numerous Deputies involved.

PBA said IUPA doesn’t have an officeyetvwechavecall voted at their office on441 including Lahiff.

PBA said IUPA was in bed with the Sheriff. Say no more.

PBA says they are the voice of law enforcement. Haven’t seen them on TV, radio or newspaper speaking on behalf of the membership.

PBA said IUPA has no money but somehow paid for billboards, food and hockey tickets and has more cash available than the PBA.

PBA promised change but as soon as the Sheriff demanded support, Lahiff writes an endorsement letter without asking the membership,


See a pattern yet???? Lie after lie from the PBA. And to think,they want to represent you again. They forged PERC cards, intimidated other to sign a card and have not changed their by laws to allow the membership any change.
