2 things I hope this guy changes right away is the stupid Use of Force Policy and pursuit policy with the Fail to Yield b/s.

Not a rookie. The current use of force policy is part of the reason why deputies are afraid to do their jobs and are getting walked all over by thugs in the street. Deputies are afraid of going hands on for fear that it will look bad because now they have to call a Sgt for some b/s like having to take a suspect to the ground. Then the sharing/reviewing of all of the body cams, taking statements from everyone on scene, writing all of the reports, just for the stats to be able to say "oh look, we've had this many use of force and only this many had to have medical attn". All because someone was taken to the ground??? They should change it back to the way it was before when a use of force was just that....a use of force.
