He will be in way over his head. Couldn’t the citizens of Broward elect someone who actually has experience running a large agency? He was Chief of Police in a small police Department of a city with very little crime and less than 7,000 residents. This is candy AND nuts.

Sleep peacefully. It's all gonna be okay. Be safe.
    Great post. Sleep peacefully too.
I'd like to be a cop again.

If the governors goal was to create support for keeping Isreal he managed to do so with this pick. He seems more fit as the head of training, not the head of a 7000 person agency.

Greg has a master's degree and is a doctoral candidate and professor in addition to a trainer.

It's not the size of the ship, it's about honesty and integrity. He has both.

Funny - Israel managed to showcase all the support he has with his very own men's stacks of resignations on his desk.

Don't worry, folks, Governor Desantis IS. Mr. Pollack IS.
I am sure, Super -Lib Runcie is going to get a visit from our new Governor as well. Mad respect for the new Gov, taking care as business like a BOSS. 2.5 Billion to clean up our disaster algae problem, a new smart, great pick for Florida Supreme Court, just in the 1st week!
Law and Order coming back to Broward County. LOVE IT. Get rid of all the bloated, cowardly, corrupted, overpaid dead weight. Even if we , on the front lines, dont see a raise for a year or two, it will be WORTH IT.
