And what happens when someone seeks counseling through EAP? What happens to their career after that. The rumors in the halls, etc. What happens when someone speaks to CISM? Same thing. Plus they are ridiculed for not being able to handle it. It's bullshit and we all know it. Sure, there are "services" but you better not ask for them or you know what will happen next. So if these services were so great, why did none of these deputies avail themselves? We all know the answer to that one.

They don't get to know what you say in there, bur they do know and RECORD in your file that you went. They also follow up with the counselor on a "general review" but not a diagnosis so it doesn't violate HIPPA. Then you get the looks and stares from brass. Then you mysteriously get passed over for promotions and good assignments and special details. Yeah, we all know how it works.

Any services provided by the department are not 100% confidential. They have a line item in their budget, that needs to be explained?? Yes, their are sign's we all should notice, with one another?? Well the non-quota quotas are BS. We are supposed to stop people randomly and question them for no real reason so we can document that we did that? This is America, not Germany.
