Nice to see this new guy from the St. Pete campus come in as an AC. He seems very energetic and positive about the job and is very different from the negative toxic leadership we have had to suffer with since I've been here the last few years and dealing with the old guard. I hope he can make some good changes on officer moral and not get beaten down by the ones that have been here in their positions for years, especially by Capt.. K. He is the epitome of micromanagement and creating a toxic leadership environment that brings on bad moral among the officers.

New guy seems like what we need here, a humble but take charge leader, and not a bully or a bad micromanager that we have had to deal with here.

Seems like a guy with much needed police and leadership knowledge, something that is BADLY NEEDED in our Command Staff.

Some of them were relieved when simonetti got the boot. TIME TO WORRY ONCE AGAIN !

I hope the guy is fair and follows through with what he has said about himself on dealing with people and the patrol here. The last thing we need here is another bully that is empowered by stepping on others to get ahead and make themselves look great on the job for doing that. We have been dealing with that since I've worked here, and it makes for a very uncomfortable work environment to want to put a career in on an otherwise great job.

Things have to get better here than the used car salesman Captain that has been running patrol. The guy never sleeps and sends out texts all hours of the day and night to the supervisors, that we in patrol have to deal with. It has been said, "if he can't dazzle you with his bs, he will stun you with his brilliance" that is running stats and using the computer to see and tell what officers are doing or should be doing their entire work shift. He is the biggest micromanager this place has ever had. A huge morale killer amongst the supervisors and the troops. It's funny when he tries to get out and play cop as if he every spent time in as a patrol officer since his first year on patrol on the job when he was moved to records Sgt.. He calls out a B/M dressed in all in green, looking around cars in the lot, and then left north. All along it was poor Arnold on bike patrol.
