In response to the punch in the gut that we received this morning from your leader who blustered on about accountability, then, essentially did a "Comey" on us, hopefully as an agency, you do not concur with his conclusion that Sheriff Scott Israel should be held harmless. He sees no reason for the removal of this feckless coward whose policies resulted in the massacre of 14 children and 3 teachers.
He seemed to be praising him. We are beyond devastated as a community and there is no relief in sight.

I'm curious why they sent such a tactical guru like Bob to discuss threat assessment and how to better train or who to arm in schools. I haven't read the report but was told that Broward policy was to wait for backup to go in. It's prob not what most people would have done but to solely blame this on Peterson is BS. Israel should get a vote of no confidence and kick to the curb. Just remember Bob can't get the SYG shootings right how could he get this right.

Gualtieri covered up for Israel in order to prevent him from being removed from office and to save his political career. Lies and coverups are Gualtieri's main area of expertise. He is very comfortable and smooth with deception when it suits his political career. Gualtieri served his boss Scott by not putting him in the position of having to remove Israel from office had Gualtieri found Israel responsible for the incompetence and bad policy, which were contributing factors in the Parkland school massacre. So the question is what is worse, Israel's incompetence which led to more Parkland deaths or Gualtieri's intentional coverup for Israel? According to the General Orders, lies in order to cover up a serious violation are punishable by termination. If Gualtieri is of the highest integrity as he claims to be why is he still sheriff?

Another disastrous political move by Bob - tying his political future to Israel who is finished in the public's eyes, defending and covering up for him. There will be a massive civil lawsuit during which Bob will have to explain under oath why he felt Israel's reckless and dangerous policy of not confronting a gunman committing a school massacre was correct and appropriate.
