MSD Commission clears Israel, but not some at BSO

MSD Commission Chair & Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gualtieri gave exclusive interview to NBC 6. He said they found nothing that would warrant Israel's removal, not even anything that came close to it. Instead, he said they found problems with various deputies, other odds and ends. But looks like Israel is in the clear.

If anyone thought that Gualtieri was going to recommend the removal of the sheriff, they were thinking pie in the sky. The Parkland commission was a fact finding mission to recommend improvements, it wasn’t an investigation. The governor was not going to make a decision based on Gualtieri’s findings, it’s going to be based on the FDLE investigation. Israel is toast, and he knows it.

    From MSD Parents

    To the Troops,
Obviously, this is a setback. It's been clear to us that the FL Sheriffs, are guarding similar practices in their own departments which removed their objectivity and prevented them from assigning accountability to the administration.

    Moving forward.

The focus needs to be on the 2020 primary. Your primary objective is to get behind a democratic challenger to knock this protected con artist out of the primary. Don't make the mistake again of going straight toward a republican challenger.
This needs to be done in the right order. Today is day one of this objective.

We are here, in Northwest Broward with campaign donations in hand and stand behind the good men and women of the BSO. We will do all that we can, everyday, to help make this happen. You need to keep us informed. Don't lose faith; we're not going anywhere.

Several months back, Sheriff Bob Gualtieri gave a press release that stated that the “Promise Program” did not have any significance in the outcome at MSD. I knew then, that the “inquiry” would be slanted.

Now Sheriff Bob Gualtieri is trying to give Isreal a pass, really? Lets not forget, Sheriff Bob Gualtieri is an attorney...

Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, obviously does not have Broward County best interest at heart.

Gualtieri announced two months ago at a hearing, with FDLE Dir Swearingen (who is also on the MSD Commission), that the two investigations were now combined into just one joint investigation.

Sounds as if Gualtieri's tough talk was a lot of grandstanding media bluster with nothing behind it. Perhaps at the Sheriff's meeting at the restaurant with Lauren's father, early on, he was being reassured that Gualtieri was no threat.

Ok. So, now we know the element that we are dealing with. This "commission" of Sheriff's is in the same league as the Broward School Board. They have eachothers backs and corruption appears to be statewide. What a slap in the face to Petty and Schacter.

    Good to know. Soldier on.

Do you think that any Sheriff that uses the Promise Program to reduce crime in their county will say otherwise?

Exactly. This would have opened a Pandora's box. They are all guilty of hiding crime and this was evident when Gualtieri dismissed PROMISE as a causal factor.

The entire state of FL, its public school system and it's county law enforcement agencies are united in hiding juvenile crime, presenting altered crime statistics to maintain their own standing.

    They are "investigating" themselves.

I find it interesting how everyone is very qualified until they disagree with you and then you revert to conspiracy theories.
