Congrats Tim. On a side note no offense but dam it looked like a field of double chins in the row of side chairs. Good God all those men need to hit the gym and take a dam vitamin. These are the leaders of our Law Enforcement?

Lightbulb Chief Tim Enos developing long-term strategic initiatives

Creating a school-based police force was a daunting task, when we embarked on this initiative six months ago – and there were some [naysayers] who thought it was an impossible undertaking that wouldn’t succeed.

The school district is now joined by Timothy Enos as the new police chief. He is one of the foremost experts on…

With all of the henchmen at Tim's swearing in I'd be worried if I were Todd Bowden. We all know that Knightmare and Todd Bowden don't get along so what better way to dig up dirt on him and the school board then to befriend lil Tim Penos? Knightmare and his morally corrupt, criminally negligent hooligans will make like friends to Timmy until they get enough dirt, then they'll destroy Bowden, the school board (except for Ziegler and Robinson) and get Timmy fired. Be very careful Tim!

Lightbulb Chief Enos vows cooperation with community partners

We need to use everybody to make it better; it can’t be just one person standing alone. It has to be a community.”

    Well said, chief.

Our SSO correctional deputies are also unarmed, yet they come to work every day. Let's not diminish the value of people who don't carry guns. And our bailiffs never leave the courthouse, yet they still perform a valuable public safety function. Also, it appears that the SMH personnel might be sworn because they are wearing guns and badges -- and they are attending and hosting law enforcement events and functions.

It's all about performing an honest days work for an honest days pay. Unfortunately, that makes Knight and Hoffman a part of the problem, instead of being a part of the solution. Doh!

Oh they are most definitely not sworn. Some or all may carry a firearm but they aren't sworn.

    SROs seasoned or not?

Sarasota County Schools PD hired a recruit from the academy back in February. Aren't SROs typically seasoned? Just seems like a new startup PD and a school PD at that isn't a good first gig. Thoughts?
