How about the catalytic converter was so hot it caught the high grass under the vehicle on fire. This happened to a Troop L Trooper years ago.

We burned a few Crown Vics standing on the median, same thing, dry season and stupid Troopers idling on the high grass after going 120mph. You cant fix stupid, it's all about common sense. If you swim with sharks, eventually you will get bit.

    Didn't you watch the video?

This is hardly some new mysterious issue. Even the Dodges in the late 70s and early 80's could catch dry grass on fire, even though they would barely do 110. Back then there weren't so many brand new troopers so most knew to be cautious. With inexperience and this could become more common as young kids haven't the slightest idea how a car works. If it isn't on Facebook, they have zero desire to learn anything about it.
