Sherrifs Support Gillum
The Florida Sherries Association are backing Andrew Gilliam. This guy has supported anti cop groups, hows this possible. Well that’s why I don’t want no elected sheriff in dade county. We will have a political hack that will support whatever will get him or her elected.

Alright JP, we know your Sugar Daddy Gimenez sent you out here to write this rubbish. An elected sheriff will take the power away from a corrupt politician and give it to a professional in our line of work who won’t have to be at the becking call of our corrupt mayor and State Attorney. Get it through your size 28 waisted pants Dancing Queen, amendment 10 will pass and come November 8th we will be here on this site laughing at you and your entire hip hop dancing troupe.

“Speaking on the podcast “Pod Save America,” Gillum said he’s not “anti-police” but rather for “police accountability,” The Washington Free Beacon reported.
"Law enforcement society cannot work and, quite frankly, law enforcement cannot do its job if it does not have a trusting relationship with the community," Gillum said.
"At the time that a law enforcement official has to go to a weapon, to a gun, to a baton, to a Taser," then they've already gone "too far by their very presence," he added, according to The Beacon.
Gillum explained that the trust police instill in the community should “bring most situations to heel” alone.”
Obviously he shouldn’t even be a mayor of a city

The difference is a well informed citizen should vote for a professional police officer not a crooked politician. At least you will have a saying by voting for the right candidate for sheriff. Now a “director” is appointed for you without your imput and we know how well that has turned out. No need to argue this point. The amendment will pass. Nothing to see here.

I agree, the amendment will pass. But as to your statement, "a well informed citizen should vote for a professional police officer not a crooked politician", you give Dade citizens too much credit. Remember, you are relying on voters - including fellow officers - who voted for Gimenez in the first place. God help us.
