I seem to remember getting a 4% raise in oct 2016. That contract also had a bunch of other perks like an additional night differential step and other goodies. More importantly that was at the height of PBA’s fight with Giménez.
And, prior to that I remember us getting 13% back that Giménez didn’t want us to have in the first place.
So, if you’re sucking him off shouldn’t you be able to get a much more lucrative office.
I do remember Stahl taking pictures with the guy all over the place and him saying you get more with honey. Well, where’s the more?

He beat him down with lawsuits, got us back everything that Giménez strip is of 13% wage increase, plenty of money perks and a 4% wage increase oct 2016. For everyone. No fracuturing of the unit. That’s what John did and Steadman is incapable of doing.
They key: one did much better fighting Giménez and the other is doing worse sucking Giménez off.
In the end, he may not like you but he respects someone who will confront him like River did. He has no respect for “prey” which is what Steadman is to him.

Read for yourself. Article 35 & 36 specifically. You’ll see what a bag of lying crap Stahl, Greenwell and others are. And they are lying about the 1% wage increase as something spectacular. What a joke. A no vote sends him a message that he has to earn his stipend

That wAs 4% that was given back in concessions and just returned to the members, along with Health insurance changes.. insurance went up to get that 4% back... Night differential and other benefits were already set to be returned that was not anything "new"... It's time to move forward..

Be careful and think hard about your vote on this contract.. If we deny this contract and Amendment 1 on the ballot passes we might not get a better contract. AMENDMENT 1 would increase homestead exemption by an additional $25K. Meaning less revenue for the county. If the county gets less money the mayor will have to either raise taxes or be less generous to us

You guys are super up the mayors butt if you consider a 1% “generous”. The mayor has said repeatedly that the county is in great financial situation which is why he gave himself a 67% raise. The PBA uses some interesting words to describe their contract which are insulting. “Generous offer” and “paying you your worth” are just a couple. Its a horrible non-generous offer. If you all are afraid to negotiate with Gimenez hire a,professional negotiating team.
