Deputy moonlighting as contractor?
Heard a “story” of a Deputy that works sometimes for a certain “agency” going to Asia, Europe, and South America. Another a-hole screwing us over on the road with his/her outside work.

this agency is rife with deputies and their "side jobs".roofing, auto mechanic. and the lady in the dod who spends more time delivering her cakes to her customers, and less time dong any actual work. nothing new here. business as usual.

Well, maybe if the Sheriff wasn’t playing games with your raises, and we weren’t 30k behind places like Fort Lauderdale and Boca, deputies wouldn’t need side jobs to support their families.
I don’t blame the deputies. It’s pretty obvious where the blame belongs. Now, if you like haveing your electricity running, get your azz back to your detail and put in another 30 hours this week after your done with your regular 40.
Oh, and enjoy your high rent in Broward County because unlike the other agencies you can’t drive your police car out of here. After all, he had to find a way to pay for all this command staff that nobody ever sees at work.

Always one in the shrinking red tide voicing his disapproval for progress. Won't get it with DeSantis. He's on record wanting to chip away at FRS,and the jerk will, if hell freezes over and this one guy supporting DeSack on this thread actually says something rational.
