    Any good ones left

Is there any one in admin worthy enough to be up there? Just about everyone up there has problems with ethics. What are we gonna do?

There’s nothing you can do at this point but seek employment at a less toxic agency. Everything is broken here. Every single process and procedure has become needlessly complicated and bureaucratic. Management is selfish, incompetent and very vindictive in addition to being shockingly hypocritical.
Things will remain broken for quite some time after Morgan leaves. It took him over a decade to completely destroy a once good dept so don’t expect anyone to be able to fix it overnight or even within the remainder of your career.

No agency is perfect but most aren’t even close to being as broken as ours. Seek your rewarding career elsewhere.

Shockingly hypocritical? None of us are shocked based on their past indiscretions we are shocked they ever made it to the top but we aren't surprised by they're antics now.

Good point. It’s my opinion that every person from capt and above has a history of immoral behavior that demonstrates their flawed character. People like that will never make morally just decisions regarding anything and will always choose what benefits them instead of what’s good for the department or community. If they’re liars or adulterers, spouse swappers, abusers or engage in deviant same sex lifestyles as outlined in the Bible then they shouldn’t be making moral or ethical judgements about anything. They really shouldn’t be employed in a job requiring public trust and especially staff level management.

I pray for the good employees who do their best to be righteous and protect the community from the evil doers on the streets. I pray twice as much that the Lord protects them from the wicked hypocrites who manage the SO because it is they whose selfish decisions hurt employees more often. We should also pray for the admin that someday they see the light.

Maybe they should put the Bible in powerdms and make employees sign off on it. We certainly need it now more than ever.

Perfectly said. Unfortunately, this career isn’t what it use to be. With the way society is now, people come into this field for selfish reasons. They love attention and seek control. They abuse authority and will lie to protect themselves in order to get away with it for as long as possible and show a complete inability to maturely disconnect when off the clock. If you can’t separate the two and end up abusing your own loved ones, you need to leave now before you lose it all, even your feedom. Some learned that the hard way or when it wAs too late.

The only things that have changed over the last 25 years are the names. It's always the same bull*** regardless. It doesn't make a difference who number 1 or number 4 is, the same crap!

A lot has changed with this administration for sure. It’s way too top heavy. Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. All those chiefs think the only way they can progress is to throw an Indian under a bus.

Too much time investigating deputies and not enough time worrying about crime. Everything else is the same though. Human nature hasn’t changed that much. Once a person moves up into administration, they forget where they came from. Admin will persecute a deputy for an action that same admin has done a hundred times.
