    Everyone hired here after 2010 is financially screwed. They just haven't figured it out yet.

    And we haven't even considered the cost of health care insurance for those hired after 1995. They will pay much higher premiums than the pre 1995 hires. If the FRS ever cuts the health care insurance subsidy they will really feel it.

    This is why many of the "retirees" work for G4S, school security or doing odd jobs and home renovations to supplement their FRS pensions. Great way to enjoy their "golden years", huh?

    Personally I'd steer clear of Florida altogether if you're considering a lateral.
