But you can be lazy, ignorant, out of shape, negligent, a skirt chaser at work, etc. and get away with it or they will cover for you if you have the right connections. But at the minimum you will get due process if you are a nobody.

Ok the above poster has got it wrong, you will be held selectively accountable and Bobs lap dogs work this site daily to dispute any negative statement about the department. James is not the only one posting on this site and Bobs PIO crew use him as a scape goat to hide the real truth that happens at PCSO. Bobs inactions to arrest Drejka shows he is incapable of making a logical decision. He doesn't hold himself accountable and makes the department look bad.

Pay is about the same as Tampa PD? Are you kidding me?? They make quite a bit more than us in base pay. That doesnt event take into account all the off-duty work they have. Plus their retirement crushes ours. They have a 20 years and out and we have 30 years and out!! Anyone that chooses PCSO over Tampa PD needs their head examined!!
