Another POS democratic candidate that what free everything, take care of me from the cradle to the grave. So in between the cradle and the grave they will feed you, give you health care, and keep you high. What going to happen when the people footing the bill (the tax payers) run out of money. This is a complex topic in a diverse population.
Medical is off the table as it has been approved already.
Recreational use can best be understood by seeing the studies done by LEO in Colorado and the effects it has imposed
on that society. There is overwhelming evidence (empirical) that shows how young adults are struggling with this.
ie: traffic violations, skipping education, low levels of ambition, and more etc. Outside of medical, it really does not offer much benefit to society, the studies are overwhelming; but we don't have enough people delivering this information to the welfare of our society's future. As i said, a real deal breaker for some come the election. You can always float over to the Leo board in Colorado and speak with some of our colleagues writing there. it will impact us.
