Does these people think we are stupid??? How many times did they say that one thing has nothing to do with the other. But NOW!! voting NO will endanger our negotiations.... The city doesn't have to pay anyone hired after 2010.... STFU

Typical scare tactic! If Ortiz wasn’t involved in negotiations, why is he concerned now Mr. Past President? No one wins but the lawyers? Lol, letter written by the lawyer who has milked money from FOP for years. Now he’s concerned over not making money? Hilarious? You weren’t supposed to be working on the Jewish Holiday? But found Time to write the letter read in front of the members on Wednesday. So are you or aren’t you concerned about the money? So devout but to the green paper!

Ortiz was saying the opposite. You can’t believe these people. Not a word about the fire department settlement. More money for us young guys now. Ortiz is just looking out for ortiz.

This contract benefits all ortiz! We are 700+ that got hired after 2010. We want raises period. We don’t care about the lawsuit we ain’t getting any of that money. 5/5/5 Show these people that us young people are in control.

Who cares about a $120,000 cap! only Ortiz, Commanders, Majors and Chief that are all ready making $140,000 plus.

That's correct. No officer will make it to 120K. A LT might but not even a Sgt.

    Did anyone remember reading this???

We are in mediation with the City of Miami in regards to our damages that are being dealt via the Public Employee Relations Commission. Robert Klausner and Gene Gibbons were present at today’s negotiations. This contract does not interfere in these negotiations and we will have more information in the very near future. We would not do anything to interfere with mediation. Every step of this contract negotiation was with the expert legal advice from our attorneys.

    But today.....

By rejecting the contract, the membership has endangered the mediation of the ULP case

If fire has accepted similar pension benefits in their contract, it must be true. I’m voting yes

Accepting $20 million on a $200+ settlement your crazy. Come oct 1 you will see the big surplus the city is going to have.

When you have over $200 - $300 million dollars 💵 settlement on the line as an attorney you want to guarantee your pay. As An attorneys if your are letting the fireman settle for $20 million you are getting kickback money under the table.

    Hey retard,

Klausner isn’t the attorney for the fire union. Their attorneys agree with Klausner. There isn’t a “300 million dollar settlement” on the line. You must’ve gotten your GED out of a Cracker Jack box too. Did you read the letter sent out yesterday? Do you know how to read? The case was remanded back to PERC meaning whatever those people appointed by the anti union governor say becomes the final
order. Hopefully you don’t vote because you probably couldn’t read the ballot anyway.
