That offensive commentary was an obvious plant to deflect and steer the conversation elsewhere. The SS article and the news indicate that cops, not cop but "cops" plural are under investigation for CRIMES.

The investigations have reached back farther than the events of one day.

It is a crime to falsify a report.

It is a crime to intimidate witnesses.

It is a crime to intentionally prepare and present false statistics in which there is profit to be gained.

It is a crime to conspire to commit fraud in reporting when state funding is involved.

All this going on and guess who didn't know anything about it? The one NOT under investigation.

Parkland residents had their chance at change, it was called the elections they could have removed people from the school board but they opted to stay home. In the end this is just another tragedy that will pass and people will forget, except for those that were directly affected. Most people will use this as a political platform to further their career they should be ashamed.

I agree I am shocked at how lazy and complacent most of these people are, moreover, disgusted with some of them voting for the status quo. For all the democrats not suckling the government teet, how the he11 do you look at yourselves in the mirror?

Yes they had a chance and thank goodness it was the primaries. You have one more chance. Turn Broward red and vote republican down the line for what you can and ask you church or "search" a voting site for "family recommended" or conservative backed candidates for the rest. Any bad apples like the school board we get due to your fecklessness in your August voting, we'll kick them out before they have a chance to warm their seats.

Parkland parents need to stand up to the Broward political machine and oust these criminal politicians. Osgood, Kiar, Parrish, Snipes, Forman, Israel, Hastings , Deutch, Wasserman, Runcie and all other sitting officials need to be voted out or fired. Parkland residents have the $$ and that's what is needed to win or sway an election.
