    Fake news PBA

Wrong again. It went very well. The sheriff and his people made a fool of themselves and never came back to the room after a break. They waived the mediation after wasting 2 hours of everyone’s time, so we are going in front of the.county in the next week or two. Also the union found more money the sheriff has been hiding. Details to follow very soon

    What Does It Matter

You can find all the money you want. It's up to the sheriff whether he gives it to us. We aren't going to get anything because of Jeff Bells antics.

Pay attention everyone. This is the kind of representation the PBA will provide: "Its up to the sheriff whether he gives it to us."

Hey PBA what kind of raise are we getting? "It's up to the sheriff..."

What kind of benefits? "It's up to the sheriff..."

Will I be protected? "It's up to the sheriff..."

With PBA representation you would be better off just paying the sheriff directly to represent you.

By the way it's actually up to the county commission now...not the sheriff.

Which is why the PBA is long gone. Good riddance.

Not true. Union entirely folded when they realized they had messed up their paperwork and had entirely forgotten to ask for the COLA (any COLA!!). And it turned out the longevity was outside the reopener so IUPA cannot even ask for it. Pretty embarrassing. Say what you want about Marciano and FOPE (or even PBA) ... but they wouldn't have messed up that badly. IUPA begged for the Sheriff to just let it go the County Commission for a final hearing. After all this time wasted, the money wasted on the accountant, we are going to get the same 3% (2.5 +0.5) they offered from the start, and not a penny more. Sad. Very sad.
