Considering the new hires we are getting, how good of a job is that?

Most of the new hires are pathetic. They are lazy, can't write a sentence, they wouldn't know PC if it hit them in the face, and they're scared. Scared to do anything, especially make a decision! The candidates with experience take other jobs because we take almost a year to offer them a position. Why does it take as long to hire someone with experience or currently working as it does someone new without any experience? It's ridiculous!

This may or may not be true. The problem I'm having is, it appears that this administration wants to destroy BSO from within....sorta like Obama did as President. Is this the new Democratic way? The agency has gone down hill, we are not respected, in fact we are the laughing stock of the nation. You know it's bad when the heads of other law enforcement agencies say we don't want to do it like BSO. The last time I checked we are one of the largest sheriffs offices in the country. We SHOULD be leading by example, not following what everybody else does! But we don't.
Just my 2 cents!

A lot of the young people today have been indoctrinated in the schools and colleges into being wimps. It started with participation rewards, Valentine's Day cards for all, and the rest of the stuff they do to avoid hurting their feelings. They see micro aggression everywhere and need quiet spaces or coloring books. Male masculinity is now a problem so men can no longer be men. So that is what you get that passes the entire hiring process.
