I remember when we would talk about current issues and other officers personal problems....... They might as well label this site Raja Yuca LEO Affairs instead of Hialeah

This has been the natural progression of things started by Raul Martinez when he ruled Hialeah for over 20 years. He hated cops and specially educated cops with degrees, he rolled down the ratio of police to citizens to about 1.25 per thousand instead of the 2 per thousand, lowered the starting pay and busted the union; he used to brag at the League of Cities how he was the only mayor that controlled hos police department, Hialeah should have a 600 person police department and is down to less that half that number. Every time you put this department under Alpha/Bravo shift for an emergency it becomes a meat grinder.
Under those conditions what can you expect

You can thank that corrupt POS Sergio Velazquez for making this department synonymous with Raja Yuca. He took the bribe from the Menocals to get JM off the hook and crapped all over our reputations.
