Don't worry guys. Rest assured that if your badge says USF on it, you're all equally terrible.

My point exactly, " Only in it for the pension". Do yourself a favor and go bag groceries at Pubix like the rest of the retired population. Your a has been and I'm sorry but law enforcement has changed since the early 70's in case you haven realized. That's the issue with both campuses, they need to stop hiring crusty ol' fks that are only in it for the pension.

Why the hell do you come to work, if not for the pension for you and your family? Don't tell me you come here because you still think you make a difference; please don't tell me that. You will get it some day, but not yet, I suppose. The main reason we do this lousy job is because of the pension. It stopped being a good career choice a long time ago. This one will be used to pay for my monthly medical premium costs; the first one pays my daily living and other expenses. Once I accrue enough for that, I am done for good and you can replace me with some young bright-eyed cat who thinks this is a real career!

OP, any concerns you may have regarding the operations of the department, or the readiness of the staff may be directed to our chain of command, or the chief directly. They'll be happy to discuss these issues with you, as well as your ideas for student engagement. Our feedback from students, staff, and faculty have been positive, so we're happy to address complaints directly, and in person.

Your right but your agency is embarrassing by default though, so it really doesn't matter what people post on here.

You mean I can talk about this place being my plan B with the chief who studied to be a funeral director down here as his plan B? What would be the point in that? He gets it, he is going to ride out this gravy train as long as he can; that is what people that are responsible for other people (i.e. families) do. You are the only one that does not get it. The entire command staff at this 'agency' came up together, covers for one another, and is going to ride it out until the brakes fall off. Moan and groan all you want; if you want to be high speed cops, you would not be working here, you would be at SPPD, TPD or the SO, so give me a break with your crap, you are happy being well-paid to cater to the millennials and socialists on campus. Me, I will be there when they call or need my assistance, but I do not have to interact with them otherwise.

You kids are idiots to think otherwise.
