FHP writing citations on deputies

FHP Sergeant issued a deputy a careless driving citation for backing into an FHP cruiser in the jail sallyport.


Yet they wonder why everyone thinks their agency is a joke.

1. It was a jail Deputy.
2. If you are dumb enough to back into another vehcile, then yup you should pay.
3. I see more of them getting convictions on their charges then we do.
4. Have you looked at our agency? We have no room to talk about any other.
5. If you come on here and talk crap about another agency that we have to work with, we all will start getting tickets everytime they stop one of us off duty.

1. Who cares if it was patrol or jail? Still a Deputy and if you honesty believe we should cite each other then you’re in the wrong field.

2. It was a minor crash with almost zero damage in a sallyport packed full of patrol cars.

3. Not hard to get convictions on suspended licenses.

4. We are a hell of a lot better than them. If you don’t agree...then why are you still employed here?

5. We already know FHP tickets their own mothers. Since when do they use discretion on off duty?

It’s fhp policy to ticket in a traffic crash so thank whomever called FHP to work it, but I bet whomever wrote the citation will not show up to court and it will be dropped
