PBA-The Allies of Runcie
YOUR candidate Levinson won last night with 56%. You donated to her campaign.
Rest assured, this community will make every effort to support the 534 of IUPA who voted for change. Regardless of their reasons, their bravery, either directly or indirectly, supported us.
Shame on you PBA. You're heartlessness.

The Sheriff and his crew were only ever here to steal and loot as much as they could for themselves from the Broward taxpayers. They could care less about the law enforcement mission or what the employees make compared to other agencies.
There is a long tradition of mismanagement and theft at BSO that was facilitated by the PBA being in bed with whoever the sheriff was.
IUPA is standing up for the employees and exposing the corruption and mismanagement.
What a breath of fresh air!!!
Thank you IUPA, keep up the good work!
Just remember anyone that is a PBA officer at BSO is only there because they are looking to continue the corrupt policies of the past and obtain a personal benefit for themselves at the expense of everyone else...

Remember Levinson is pro runcie which makes her part of the problem. So PBA ensures runcie stays by keeping the tables from turning. As far as I’m concerned that makes PBA complicit in what happened at MSD. They obviously want more of the same. That’s ok because they’re not coming back here ever again!!!!!!!! Ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, indeed. The Broward Police Benevolent Association has assured that Robert Runcie will collect a 335K yearly salary indefinitely.
To Protect and serve. Is that the mission?

So in some threads the message is PBA is weak and useless, so who needs them ... and then you have this one saying the PBA beat the candidate backed by IUPA and other Israel haters. So, outside of the crap people post on this site, it seems PBA is the winner in the real world.

By winner, do you men supporting candidates that the membership does not want? Or do you mean supporting candidates that further tie our hands?

in the real world, police protect and serve the community. their directive is not to show up in the hood with a turkey to solicit a vote from someone incapable of understanding the issues. the PBA supported a candidate who supports runcie; who along with the sheriff, created policies and practices that resulted in the deaths of 17 people. IUPA supported change.
