In the Sheriff’s last two campaigns he said he was going to put more boots on the streets, does anybody recall if he said specifically boots on the streets of Charlotte County? As I seen it he didn’t lie, so far he’s put more boats on the streets of Lee County, the City of Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Northport, Sarasota County, the City of Sarasota, Longboat Key and if I remember right about half-dozen or so officers in Orlando. If he runs for Sheriff again he needs to be more specific on which streets the extra boots are going on or just make a few minor changes to the things that cause good officers to leave for other agencies.
