Dear Leonida,

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office received a public information request from you on August 21, 2018. Your request mentioned:

“SUNSHINE LAW REQUEST FOR THE EXIT INTERVIEWS FOR ALL THE PEOPLE THAT QUIT,FIRED OR RETIRED BECAUSE OF CHARLOTTE COUNTY,SHERIFF,BILL PRUMMELL CORRUPTION,ALL 381 OF THEM IN JUST 6 YEARS”

Estimated Total: $4,116.94

381 files for HR to gather the requested documents, at 30 minutes a file. 190.5 hours of work. The first 30 minutes is no charge. Estimated 12 hours for records to review the requested documents for confidential and exempt information.

Please let me know if you will accept these estimated costs. If you do not respond to this email within 45 business days after the date this statement is sent, your request will be deemed withdrawn.

If you agree to accept the charges, please do so in writing by replying through the request center or writing to us at 7474 Utilities Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33982. Excessive or large records requests that appear to take more than thirty (30) minutes to prepare shall require a fifty percent (50%) deposit before any work is generated. In the event that the deposit is more than the actual cost, the difference is refunded to the customer utilizing a receipt issued by the Records Section. If the requester cancels the records request after all or a portion of the work has been completed, the deposit will be forfeited or deducted for the amount of work completed.

The total amount may change from the estimate amount depending on how much time and labor and/or cost of extra material is actually spent on your request. Full payment is required before we release the records to you.
