Levine hand picked her so he could use her for exactly this. He could care less about Hill. It’s only about the optics. Hopefully Levine, Oates, Hill and Clueless-Schmidt will be nothing but a bad memory a year from now.

The only reason that Oates and MAJOR Wendy are still here is because it would make Levine look bad if they are asked to leave. I am pretty sure that Levine realizes that Dan was never the right fit. And it has nothing to do with Dan being from the outside. Just look at the Fire Departaments Chief.

Dan has no clue on what it takes to garner the trust of Rank and File. He lost that chance when he came in and told everyone that he was going to wait 90 days before making any changes. Yeah ok.
