Varies by location and division. Most of the Patrol side is on 12s with staggering times. Most investigative positions are on 8s or 10s and Command Staff are on 8s. But being as big of a department as this is, it’s varies.

Does it matter? If you want to be in law enforcement the schedule shouldn't matter. If you want 8 A.M - 5 P.M and weekends off, wrong field to be in. Might as well work at a bank.

Most patrol units are not on 12's. Where did you get this from? Other specialty units work 8's and administration works 8's.
