Obviously, you're viewing this agency through rose colored glasses. In the beginning there was hope. Unfortunately, that soon passed with every former FLPD hire. I understand bringing some of the people in that you trust and that can help with your vision. In case you haven't noticed at least 90% of the upper command staff is former FLPD. No offense, they didn't do so well over there running things, regardless of what rank they held. BSO is just another pension to his friends, which is why they are fighting so hard to remain here until the election. Deep down the sheriff knows he screwed up by listening to poor advice and because of that he won't be re-elected. There will be change. Unfortunately, it's those who work the road that have to bear the brunt of the upper command staffs actions. No matter if they are removed next month or next election cycle, I'm sure they are currently working on a "Golden Parachute" plan for each and every one of them with our raise money. Your all unfortunately putting too much faith in FDLE or Florida Defending Liars Enforcement ( FDLE ). That agency is as corrupt as any, don't know how to investigate their way out of a shithouse if it was on fire.

They are corrupt from Tallahassee to Key West. Just look at their pay scale, you get what you pay for. They are loaded with retired officers looking to slide their way into a second pension and could care less about anything except what's for dinner. Or, they have wanna be cops that couldn't get hired by an actual law enforcement agency, Or, Lateral Troopers and everyone knows what their good for! Either way, they are a joke and command no respect.

I am no fan of your sheriff and he should be ousted but I think your putting too much stock into an agency such as FDLE what are the joke of law enforcement in Florida.
