    “DUI Officer” of the Month

“Lipski, who smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet, failed a field sobriety test, police Deputy Chief Brian Dugan said. His blood-alcohol level was 0.18. A legal limit for Florida drivers is 0.08.

“This serves a message to everyone,” Dugan said. “We don’t tolerate this kind of behavior.”

    (Some message you sent)

Asshole - it’s called redemption. He paid his dues and worked hard. All well deserved. Maybe one day you can get yourself to the point of recognition and get an award. But. Probably not. Lol.

Wow...what a heartless asshole you are. You must be a real joy to live with. Officer Lipski does not deserve your hatred.

He made a horrible mistake and has paid his dues by working hard and staying clean. In instances like his, most would agree, the Dept has issued the correct amount of discipline.

Discipline? Being immediately assigned to a specialized unit that most officers only dream about making it to? OK

Exactly! Thread isn’t anti Lipski, it’s about Dr. Evil talking out of both sides of his mouth.

He should have been fired immediately. You swear to uphold the law and know the dangers of drinking and driving. I have never seen an officer with an OPEN INTERNAL AFFAIRS INVESTIGATION get assigned to a specialty unit. But he did such a great job, WHILE HE WAS RELIEVED OF DUTY! What did you expect when he was trying to keep his job. He left his squad short handed for TWO years. You should judge him on his character before getting ARRESTED. He is a piece of scrizzit and should have been fired. And before you spout at the mouth, I have gotten some awards when they didn't hand them out like toilet paper in the bathroom. Like catching an escaped prisoner, like catching a homicide suspect, like catching an armed robbery suspect but it all pales in comparison to the work that piece of shit does. Get a life, he took an oath and was an active officer and should have known better but that is what this department has come to. It's becoming a joke. By the way, I HAVEN'T been arrested for a DUI either.
