With the department undergoing a new look and restructuring, Willie probably won’t have anything or anywhere to administer over, not that he can do that now.
Investigative Division, and most of the maggots, roaches and rats there, should be dismantled and Willie’s skill set, and that’s a real stretch and attempt at being kind, seems so limited and lacking, that there’s seemingly no place for him. If Chief is smart, and I think he is, he tells Willie it’s time.
Probably too dumb to place in Administrative Division.
Probably too useless to place in Operations.
Probably too limited to place in any type of specialized unit or function.
Forget trust because it’s Willie.
Yes, retirement, or resignation, appears the only likely move. Plus, with public records requests pouring in on Willie, Muppet, Mini, Armpit and a few other scumbags, who knows what’s going to happen. Probably, nothing positive or good, but who’s fault is that?
The last thing the Superintendent is going to want is to start the 2018-19 school year under a cloud with school police.

The Chief should actually consider demoting him back to Sgt and then retire him as a Lt. He was barely an average Sgt to begin with and won't be missed, other than by the rodents and snakes at ID and a few others who have infected this place over time.
