    Has anyone even noticed?

Has anyone noticed that crime in BSO patrolled areas has skyrocketed, while arrests have significantly decreased?
The administration is so busy doing damage control and playing politics each and every day that supervising basic police functions have ceased to exist. Every staff meeting is about the sheriff staying in place. There is NEVER any talk of protecting the public from being victimized. Every initiative is about giving something away to garner votes or to pander to certain communities rather then to include every community we are SUPPOSED to serve.

BSO will tout crime statistics county-wide, but it is the crime in BSO patrolled areas that is the problem. Deputies, Detectives and Patrol Supervisors just don't want to engage anymore, and are completely paralyzed to make decisions for fear of repercussions, because this administration has demonstrated they will hang some people out to dry (Peterson) and protect others (Jordan).

We are so dysfunctional, and it is beyond being shameful that the Governor either fails to recognize what's going on here or just doesn't care. Or maybe he's enjoying watching this crap show.

Why do you care? Who cares about these people who hate us? Just get paid and get home to your family. This is just a temporary stop in life.

Goes with the memo today that only downtown can give out crime stats. Can no longer be given by the districts to city officials or HOAs
