Don't worry there stoop, that's why I didn't say: "case"; but rather: "has ruled".
It 'has ruled' many times on the issue and in different instances/circumstances that police have no Constitutional duty to protect and/or serve the public. Displaying the phrase on a departments vehicles and equipment does not make them legally bound or accountable for not acting.
The word 'Police' being derived from the word 'Policy'; as they enforce the 'Policy and Procedures' of the corporation known as THE UNITED STATES.

The Probation offices going remote will give the officer's more time to go have sex with their convicted felons. Instead of going to the office. They will go directly to the felons home.

Captive audience?
COs can sexually and physically abuse inmates while working leaving free time to download child porn or bring back contraband for compensation or favors. Sound familiar?

Don't forget the criminal CO's that put a mentally ill inmate in a shower with scalding hot water and he died with his skin peeled off. That's your typical CO with a low IQ. The news reports at least one CO a week getting arrested for their nefarious behavior. And that's what gets reported. There are more of these trolls smuggling in drugs and cell phones that get fired and its not reported. That's what happens when you hire the dumbest of the dumb.
