"This position requires shift work, which includes weekends and holidays as well as on duty assignments during natural disasters. Applicants may be assigned to any of the following three shifts for indefinite periods of time: A.) 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM; B.) 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM; or C) 10:45 PM to 6:45 AM. Beginning Emergency Dispatchers will most likely be assigned to the midnight or afternoon shift, once training is complete."
