Looking for someone with arrest warrant

A search warrant or consent is required to search for a person with a arrest warrant at the home that is not theirs , but that of a 3rd party . Trying to locate a person with a arrest warrant at the residences of a 3rd party after dark without even knocking on the door after dark and having parked your agency car and walked in .Not ringing the door bell or knocking on the door to inform residents of your presence was a violation of the 4th amendment. Law enforcement officers are at rusk
enough without creating it themselves .You put yourself and the residents in a position that could cost either of you or both to lose their life .The resident doesn't know who you are outside because you didn't let him know or even try too. If they exit the home with a firearm to see what's up and they can't tell who you are things are going to go bad real fast . They end up shot because you felt you didn't need to follow the law ,yet the shooting will be justified because you say you told them to drop the weapon and they didn't comply . The courts have ruled that way . The person is dead so they can't tell their side of the story. The sad fact is that they were just protecting their home against a unknown subject that was lurking outside their home
