You should try and comprehend what you read. Your quote is not even quoted correctly. Nobody is asking about what the job or “real world” entails... the question was simple, and was solely about the holdover (lateral) training for experienced Officers.

Is that mon-fri or are holdovers also on the 4x4 shift?

Depends. When I did it a few years back if was Monday thru Thursday for the first few weeks then they put you on our cycles eventually. Depends on where you get hired in the pay cycles.
