Headline: Something important was different about this shooting

First lines: "What's more, the Santa Fe school had two armed police officers and had trained extensively in active shooter protocols, so it wasn't a situation where "good guys with guns" can solve the problem."

This shooter had IEDs and planned. These kids plan. They are smarter and clever.

Meanwhile while Steve and the School Board keeps the PR going, in the process giving away good pieces of info to some kid who thinks acting out this way is the way to go. This shooter "planned to commit suicide after the shooting, but did not have the courage" strangely he had the "courage" to massacre 10 defenseless fellow students, crticially wound an officer and 9 others.

Lets guess. Steves "Guardians" would have handled that situation, since their training "is better" than "ordinary deputies"

Funny those super officers were right on the radio calling for all backup and SWAT. Anyone who thinks placing these "super selected specially trained gunfighters" in schools is going to work. Read in this incident.

This Santa Fe shooter had only a shotgun and a handgun, and the 2 specially trained officers obviously were out gunned.

And Steve talks about "big rifles". This Santa Fe shooter was way underarmed in comparison, no high powered mag fed rifle here. and the two police officers. who were and are way more trained no matter how you look at it - this shooter took up a barricade position.

But Steves trained better than ordinary deputy secret guardians, would have done the job better?

Sheer insanity. This whole school board and its "leadership". Stick to improving school performance, not turing our schools into a stage for a PR "solution".

My children are not returning to Hendry Schools this fall. No way. Fix the schools first, let the Sheriffs Office handle public safety and not by adding "secret armed guardians" to our schools.
