This guy looking to get tac vests and uniforms is exactly the same type of guy that aimlessly walks around the command post of a large incident with his trusty Red Ryder and his Oakley sunglasses because he thinks chicks dig it.. People like this are usually regretting not joining the military ("have missed their window of opportunity") and realize they've never actually done "tough guy" $#it, and have no stories to pass on to their kids, family or friends.
Most guys that join SWAT are going through the same things you are.
You missed your opportunity buddy...Accept it.
