You are correct sir, but we are told not to look at case notes when they are in the news. It does not take a rocket scientist to know what is going on. They are changing them, (again not officers) Administrators. You see Officer's are following ignorant policy's that get people killed. The Admins, knowing they are wrong or incompetent quickly fix. Like telling the media the Court decides the risk system not us. Bold face not true.

--If we were to do our job correctly, it costs more money, equipment and cars. They are making 185000 + so why would they want to rock the boat at all. We should not be in the business of profiting money at all, we are a necessary evil that is required to be in our community to watch evil and keep it in check. Especially when everyone is diverting people from prison. That's fine but then who's watching them ???????, who was watching the guy that killed the children and Police Officer. Don't blame the Officer she was doing her job as directed if we did it any other way it costs money.

Yes it’s public record but this place is criminal. Our CA told us We are not to read case notes of offenders we do not supervise and that we can be tracked for reading them!

Wow! So for instance, say one of your co-workers is out on leave and a victim calls wanting information about an offender, you are no longer allowed to look at those notes and give them an answer without facing retaliation from above?

I'd say that no reasonable attorney would refuse to take that ca$e if you got in trouble for doing it. Retaliation in any form certainly does not promote a balanced, hostile-free workplace.

No only those cases that make the media. So if you see something on the news, dont check case notes to see if this person is on probation. The most recent shooting in Highlands, DOC shut down all access to case notes on this case.
