Was this Expert Witness Opinion made from the offices of Robert R. Pusins & Associates, Inc. or as Robert R. Pusins BSO Executive Director Executive Command Staff? Was there any monetary compensation made to Pusins?
Complaints Rise Against Nation’s Railroad Police
By Ron Nixon
May 28, 2015
In court transcripts, Judge Allen F. Murphy said he was very troubled that the case was not investigated as a hate crime. The case appears to have been settled last week.
“Communities grant law enforcement powers to these officers,” said Robert R. Pusins, a retired police officer who is an expert on tactics, “and should be assured that they are operating with the same level of scrutiny that officers from a local city or town receive.”

Not so
Bob Pusins is not an expert witness to anything, and definitely not an expert in tactics. Please tell me the extensive practical experience he has in applying tactics? I’ll answer that for you, NONE!!!! The guy is a complete wind-bag. Ask Chief Chuck Drago what he thinks of Bob Pusins, and ask him why he demoted Pusins. He screwed-up every responsibility Sheriff Israel gave him, and should have been fired 3 years ago. Think about this. Community outreach was taken from him because he lost complete control of the unit with no order of direction. It was almost as though he had no experience in running a community affairs unit. It was then taken over by Jail Guard Ira Goldberg, who did a 3 Times better job than Pusins, the expert in nothing. What does that tell you about the legend, Bob Pusins. You almost have to ask yourself, how did he ever make it to the 5the floor in the first place?

Bob Who?
Bob Pusins did NOTHING with Community Outreach. He got his power rushes by degrading all who didnt worship him. He was not comfortable with people unless he was leading by fear and intimidation.
He was a Big Do Nothing Bag of hot air.

But he'll leave having made more money over the last 5 years than a top deputy in the drop.
Tens of millions for friends and family over last 5 years. Think about that when you write you next check to pay your taxes.

And he did
There are a number of deputies who have left here, and will leave in the near future with a lot more money than Bob Pusins. But most of all their pride and reputation will be intact!!! Chief Drago and the For Lauderdale city Manager forced him out for a reason, just like sheriff Israel took almost all his responsibilities away from him because he screwed everything up. Let’s just say, he’s the white Mike Tyson.

Robert R Pusins
Is this side job investigation performed while on the clock at BSO, was the BSO IT base used to get confidential information on any of the parties involved in this litigation?

Knight and Cure first say that they are entitled to a new trial because the trial court erred in admitting testimony from W. Kenneth Katsaris, the defendants' police-practices expert. Katsaris was called as a rebuttal expert to the plaintiffs' police-practices expert, Robert Pusins. Pusins had testified that the officers' behavior was objectively unreasonable under the circumstances of this case. In rebuttal, Katsaris testified that the officers “acted objectively reasonabl[y] and in accordance with what is recognized as training throughout the country.” Before trial, both sides moved to exclude the others' police-practices witness for various reasons; the trial court denied these motions to the extent that they sought to exclude the witnesses entirely, but it did place limits on the scope of the testimony. Specifically, the court ruled that the police-practices experts could not be questioned on “the constitutionality of the Miami-Dade Police Department's policies” or on “any ballistics, bullet projectile, or accident reconstruction issues,” and that they could not “testify, reference, or analyze any caselaw before the jury.” After the verdict, the plaintiffs argued that the inclusion of the defendants' expert entitled them to a new trial.
