Executive Director Robert R. Pusins served with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department for over 30 years. He began his career as a police officer and worked through the ranks as a field training officer, detective, sergeant, captain, commander, major and assistant chief of police. Director Pusins served in the Operations, Investigative and Administrative Bureaus. Director Pusins earned a BA degree from the University of South Florida and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s Command Officer Development Course. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy. Recently, Director Pusins has been in private practice consulting nationally as an expert in police practices and procedures and qualified as an expert in numerous state and federal courts.

Robert R. Pusins advocates that he is an Expert in Police Procedures & Practices from A to Z, yet he has been employed by BSO as Executive Director since 2012 on a full-time basis (40 hour week +) yet he has a thriving Expert Witness business that he touts. Might there be some theft of services somewhere along the line?

Before any organization hires Pusins as an Expert require his time records from BSO.
