The next Sheriff will be an individual with a strong background in business/finance. This is a huge budget that never should have, and NEVER will again, be in the hands of local former beat cops. You can count on the residents of this county to make sure of that. It's already a strong topic of discussion. Even democrats acknowledge the disastrous consequences of the multimillion dollar playground on Broward Blvd. It's shameful that over 5000 employees have been subject to this embarrassment.
