Mikey has all the locals eating out of his hand. They think he's the greatest!

We all know that Mikey is a political hack and never has been much of a cop.

He brings in top rank folks as political favors and paybacks to the politico's in Tally.

He doesn't enforce anything. Staff have low morale and most are really incompetent.

Those that have hung on though Johnson's term have been passed up for promotions and instead Mikey give's less than qualified people their favors and promotes them. Just look at Scott H.

Walton actually pays more than the other neighboring agencies... and offers better equipment. The Sheriff’s tactics are progressive not embarrassing if you look at statistics and the decline of violent crime and repeat offenders. Sounds like you’re mad because you were passed over for promotion.

Sad as the low morale of good deputies will most-likely continue to plummet as now Adkinson will stick around...

So the Media Whore, Mike Adkinson who is about 30 people short on his staff, now sends multiple deputies to three other counties and brags about it on local media? What about the people in your county? Who is servicing them? Citizens have not seen a deputy in weeks.

Several deputies have left with about a dozen others waiting to get their retirement to get out.

No staff to patrol the local neighborhoods, but plenty to ship off to other counties???

Political Mike was at it again, taking every opportunity to shame those that stayed in "his" county and to do a beer commercial (basically) with a local brewery business and then tout that his inmates "volunteered" they were not "asked" to help clear roadways.... Big media release on that.

Come on, Mike, go to Hollywood. Better luck there than Tallahassee....

Better yet, get your ass to Panama City and help delivery water and food like the rest of us...

Looks as if more good officers are leaving WCSO, knowing that Mikey won't be leaving the area to go to Tally.

The political favors continue to hurt the department as a top rank official abruptly resigned last week and long time deputies are reporting that they "are dropping like flies" wanting to get out.

Mike's politics are coming to bite him in his big rear end.
