According to Bob, SOPs and General Orders are only guidelines to be deviated by him when it protects his political career. Know matter if it's a use of force, pursuit or improper handling of a investigation he and he only will decide the punishment of the suspected offender.

    Dear Fukktard,

Wow, two whole articles. Aga8n, I would like to put your ***** ass in front of a car that is driving at you. Then let’s see what you do. And shooting at a fleeing car and one that tries to kill you are two different things. Or is that too much for your libtard faggot ass to understand?

You shoot at a fleeing vehicle, Bob will fire you. Especially if it suits him politically. Don't expect Bob to back you up. He will make you the sacrificial lamb.

Why should you be backed up if you flagrantly violate policy and there is no justification for what you did. If a car is hauling azz AWAY from you and you are not in danger and you shoot at it why should you be backed up by the boss?

Just keep your gun in the holster and wait until you're fired upon. Then and only then think about returning fire. If you can't resolve the situation then call your supervisor and get their advise. If your lucky it will be resolved after the supervisor calls the major. Good luck and policies are only guidelines.

What good can come from shooting at a vehicle that’s already fleeing away from you? Anyone who thinks this is a good idea, needs to be in a different career! It absolutely makes zero sense to shoot after the threat departs, with no prior knowledge of an ongoing threat (racing another car does’t qualify).

Somebody trying to get away doesn’t meet the criteria for deadly force or an ongoing threat to public safety!

Way too many negative outcomes over any possible good outcomes!

The only ongoing threat to officers or public safety is the shots fired at the fleeing vehicle!

Then why don’t you become the State Attorney and prosecute officers who do this? If you feel that strongly about it put your money where your ***** mouth is. And while you are there read Graham v. Connor and suck the big one you cop block ***** ass *****.

What if the vehicle is fleeing towards you and might run you over? The GOs say you should not put yourself in that situation. So you are still in deep doo-doo
