I keep seeing where Frank Fernandez wants to be the Chief in Coral Gables and that's what all of this $ht is about....so that he can get Hudak out and take over. This is hilarious!! Why would he want to be Chief in Coral Gables?? Are you so full of yourselves to think that this is the top job in the county?? The guy has had more experience in major inicidents and cases in one month of his career than Hudak has had in his entire career. He has worked in places that have real crime and activity, the Gables has none. Put their credentials side by side....every person would conclude that Fernandez is infinitely more qualified. He has experience in multiple departments, has reviewed many other departments as an expert for DOJ, and has been the driving force behind the success in Coral Gables. The citizens and commissioners should be thankful to have such an experienced, dedicated public servant on staff. If he identifies issues in the department, you should listen very closely. He is not political and doesn't play games. He is a straight shooter who has integrity and does not need this job.

Stop with the nonsense that he needs to be fired or resign. He will keep the department and city out of the headlines.
